Gary Rademaker begins his second year as an assistant freshman coach.  Coach Rademaker was a three-sport athlete at Hartsburg-Emden High School, where he played baseball, basketball and golf.  After graduating, Gary went on to play basketball for two years at Carl Sandburg College and one year at Iowa Wesleyan before graduating in 2012 from the University of Illinois Springfield with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.  Gary’s coaching experience began back at his alma-mater, Hartsburg-Emden Junior/Senior High School, where he served three years as the head boys basketball coach for the junior high and two years as the high school’s boys varsity basketball assistant coach. Currently, Gary is a financial representative for Northwest Mutual here in Lincoln.  He and his wife Bethany have two children: 6-year-old daughter Lillian and 5-year-old son Barrett.
