Zach Damm begin his fifth season as an assistant freshmen coach. Zach resides in Mason City and graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in 2012 with a Bachelors of Science in physical education.   For the last six years, Zach has been a physical education teacher in the Delevan Community Unit School District.  Zach developed his love of coaching basketball back in 2013 when he worked as an assistant on the Illini Central Junior High basketball coaching staff.  Coach Damm now plays an instrumental role working alongside Coach McClallen, teaching the Railer system to our young players.  His coaching background and knowledge of the game have undoubtedly been an asset to the development of the program. Zach and his fiancé Lauren Deiss are proud parents of their one-year-old daughter Nora.
